About three years ago, I discovered hot glass! I fell in love with the look of lampwork bead jewelry, and decided that no matter what, I was going to learn how to do this amazing art.
And I did!
I found a workshop near me, took a class from an amazing teacher, and hit the ground running! A pile of glass beads “Brings out the Crow” in me…(Ooo Shiny!!) and the immense satisfaction I feel when the pile of beads are made by myself is quite a reward.
There’s nothing like slipping a necklace over your neck or a bracelet on your wrist that has beads that:
a) you enjoy feeling
b) are sentimental and significant.
and
c) are each completely handmade and unique
No one else will have the same piece of jewelry!
